Spells:

The Moon’s Dust:
This ability uses Lepido’s moth dust to temporarily blind his opponent who are in a 5 feet radius for 30-45 seconds. The farther Lepido is, the time limit of the ability will shorten. Lepido can only use this spell every 3 rp turns.

Requirements:

3 rp turns to cool down.

Advantage:

It gives Lepido enough time to escape or physically attack.

Weakness:

It will be difficult to be near mages who are long ranged spell casters
Not all physical attacks will work.

Fragments of the Eclipse:
Dark energy is compressed into a cube, then breaks into smaller fragments for a wider shooting range. If the fragments are smaller the range becomes wider, however the attack becomes weaker. It takes Lepido 7-10 rp turns to have a sufficient amount of mana.

Requirements:

Sufficient amount of Mana
Distance himself 10-15 feet away from the target otherwise the spell will not work

Weakness:

Lux mages can dissolve Lepido’s Nox magic
Cool down takes 24 hours
He feels drained after one cast

Passive Skills:

Night Vision: He is able to see in the dark but it requires concentration.
Flight: He has to warm up his wings by flapping them several times before flying.

Personality:

Lepido is more of an anti-hero type of person and doesn't like the whole courage or mortality idealism that hero's have. Lepido is comfortable with himself and can be described as either as bold or gross. Looks and appearances doesn’t matter to him, especially from the universe that he came from with different bug hybrids coming from all shapes and sizes. Despite being sloppy, he takes great care for his teeth and wants other to take good care of their teeth too.

Lepido seeks out for social interaction and likes to talk about various things and may lead him into talking too much. His favorite type of conversations are in depth one-on-one talks. As for his humor, he has a mean sarcastic humor, but he means no harm by it. Though he would prefer to laugh at you rather than with you… Lepido tends to hesitate during critical times and struggles to find confidence in his abilities and decision making. He would much rather be a follower than being the leader.

On the surface, Lepido is a lively person who likes to have fun and can be restless when he’s bored. Once you get to know him more, he is a much more deeper person than he appears to be and has many worries.

Gross/weird items: He likes them because they have more character
Sweets: This includes nectar, honey and natural sugars!
Astronomy: He grew up learning about the stars and has always loved them

Low light: As a moth species, he's attracted to light.

Bright lights: Too much light hurts his eyes
Cold/hot weather: He prefers mid temperatures like 50-70ºF/10-21 ºC
Formal wear: Feels restricting, especially when flying.

Biography:

    Lepido's species dwells deep into the forest where trees stand over hundreds of feet tall and the average size of flowers are 8 feet. The majority of their energy comes from natural sources like solar, wind and water power. The environment is ideally healthy, but the forests are highly populated despite the short life spans bugs have. His species are active during the night and sometimes during twilight hours they are able to see those who are active during the day (butterfly or bee hybrids).

    A moth species main job are to help those who need to travel at night and reach their destination. Navigation school is the main education that moth species go into. While he was learning about history, he also heard about bug hybrids who were equipped with spell books and used magic to help the forest when it needed help. For example, when there was a great fire that spreaded through the forest in history, water mages help put the fire out and restore the forest. Mages were known to be government officials and have high positions in the military. After technology began to improve, there was a decrease in any signs of mages– however the books were still passed down from generation to generation. Lepido’s ancestors were dominantly Nox users.

  Soon the worn out grimoire was passed down to Lepido’s generation. The lore of his ancestors interested him as he flipped through the book. He read about the gates that lead to an academy that his ancestors had once attended– It was called Luna Arcana. In order to open the gates to Luna Arcana he would have to cast the teleportation spell from the book. Lepido wondered if he harnessed mana like his ancestors did, though there was a slim chance. Though he have a better chance than those whose ancestors were not mages. Old loose leaf papers were tucked inside the book that had hand written information of how to cast the spell and how to increase your mana. However, a few pages were missing as the numbers at the bottom of the page skipped digits.

  Lepido had a small amount of mana and was not able to open the gate to Luna Arcana. After several months of trial and error, the book managed to synchronize with his mana. Dark energy began to shroud around him. Lepido attempted to close the book in order to stop the spell, but the dark energy still poured out of the book. This was his gate to Luna Arcana.
It took Lepido 3 days to recover from casting the spell and woke up in the strange place “hidden deep within the pocket of time… Luna Arc.”

TLDR;
Lepido’s ancestors were mages and had their grimoires passed down from generation to generation. In order to open a gate to Luna Arcana, Lepido had to cast a teleportation spell that his ancestor once used. Lepido was curious to know if he could harness mana like his ancestors and after months of trial and error, the book synchronized with his mana. However, it drained a large amount of mana from him. It took him 3 days to recover and found himself in Luna Arcana.

Extra Information:

Quote: "Thats gross!" or "Thats sick(ening)!" when he thinks something is cool.
Lepido has a villainous appearance and even more so when he smiles, but he means well.
He grins a lot or looks smug, but it’s just his face.
Sense of smell is sort of dead and he relies on his antennae to be his nose.
Has 2 hearts (because moths have 2 hearts).
He is able to use the moon and stars to navigate, however since the stars are aligned differently in Luna Arcana he has to learn how to navigate in this world.
He sheds a lot (aka moth dust)
Lepido wasn’t born with a lot of mana and wants to increase it.
